Everything in life is energy, and understanding your energetics can help you live a more aligned, purposeful life. Energetics refers to the flow of energy in our bodies through systems like chakras and meridians. When this energy is blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to physical symptoms or emotional challenges. By rebalancing your energy and aligning your thoughts, beliefs, and actions, you unlock the power to manifest the life you truly desire. Understanding your energetics is the key to creating a life of joy, success, and fulfillment.

Hey, guys. Welcome to the first episode of Aligned Energetics. It is so exciting to be here. I have wanted to do this podcast for forever and the stars have finally aligned and it's happening and it feels really damn good. So today we're going to talk about energetics because obviously it's in the name of my, business now.

I have officially rebranded to Aligned Energetics. And so to kick us off, I wanted to explain what energetics is, and it's a word that is getting thrown around a lot nowadays, especially in the wellness self development space. I'm coming from it from more of a literally energetic perspective because I am a kinesiologist and a reiki practitioner. So I'm coming from it from a very, I believe, very tangible explanation of what energetics is. So to start with the very basics to remember, if there's anything that you remember from this episode, it is that energy is everything and everything is energy.

Everything has energy within it. It is all vibing at very different frequencies. I am not a physicist, so don't ask me to explain exactly how it works, but there is a lot of science to back this up. Right? But from a holistic point of view, we are tapping into this energy.

We're talking about it in a different sort of way than what science is, but it's all about energy is everything and everything is energy. So I don't want to get into too much detail because, you know, if you wanted the detail, just jump online and there's so much to read on there it's ridiculous. So I just want to give you a really clear and easy way to understand it. So, there is a complex web of energetic centres and structures in your body. There's chakras, there's meridians, there's auras, there's the 5 elements, and they are all interconnected in quite complex ways through your body and they all represent and do different things.

The chakras are really popular with yoga especially, because they are energy centres in the body that are connected to different muscles and organs and they represent different things in our lives, different themes. So just for an example, the base chakra, it's all about safety and security and stability. That's your hip area and your legs. So it's well known that if you have financial stress, you're probably gonna have lower back issues.

So just keep in mind that these energy structures are all working together in complex ways. The energy is flowing through the different centres. For chakras, they are clockwise kind of swirls, at the front and back of your body. Whereas meridians are like little highways running through your body and they are connected with different organs, which we will talk about in future episodes.

But with the meridians, there is something called qi (pronounced 'chi'). There's energy flowing through through those meridians. And the idea is that we are designed to have this beautiful, balanced, harmonious, energetic state where everything is flowing really well. We're feeling really good. We are feeling really grounded, safe. We're feeling happy. We're feeling like we can express ourselves in our lives. We've got a clear direction ahead of us. We have a really healthy connection to each other, the world at large. We have a greater sense of purpose and connection to the divine, whatever that is, God, spirit, nature, whatever that feels is right for you and correct for you.

So that is when we are perfectly balanced. And so as an energetic practitioner, we are always bringing the body back into its natural healthy balanced state. What happens is when we have blockages occur in our body through one of these energy centres, like the chakras, like meridians, that is when there's going to be issues because it's either blocked because no energy can flow through, or sometimes there's too much energy in a particular centre and it's actually drawing energy away from other energetic centres in your body. It can create really interesting problems where you see one, for example, meridian has really flared up, but another one is really stagnant or has lost so much energy that there's just nothing happening in it.

And you can see that in physical symptoms that you might be experiencing or emotions and things like that. Emotions are energy. E-motions: energy in motion. So a lot of the time these blockages in our body, in our auras, in our meridians, in our chakras, maybe not so much auras actually, that's more like external stuff, but it can still be emotions as well. When we don't process emotions properly, they get stuck in our body.

With that emotion is normally a memory as well and it will get stuck in a particular energy centre or meridian or whatever it is, and it will show up by showing that imbalance in that energy centre. As a kinesiologist, especially, we can do this thing called muscle testing, which is a stress response where we use muscles to get a yes or no response from the body or, a different indicator to basically ask the body, okay, what do you need? What's going on? Where's the block? Which we can pinpoint exactly thanks to the body. We can also pinpoint the emotion, who was involved, your age of when it happened and we can also clear it really quite quickly and easily using energetic tools that clear that blockage or, you know, calm down that meridian that might be overactive at the moment or whatever it is. And we want to do that because otherwise you're going to have physical symptoms showing up. So we clear that energy blockage and things are able to flow again. You're able to let things go. Memories that maybe have been haunting you for years, or actually projecting you on certain paths in your life that aren't in alignment with who you really truly are can finally get cleared.

Once we clear those blocks, all of a sudden you are free to make a decision from the now, not from being stuck in the past. So it's very empowering when we start to shift our energetics and start to rebalance them and start to align them. So when I say internally align, we get the healing part, we get the clearing balancing part. It's your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional states. Okay.

So, we want to rebalance all of those first. Then the external alignment piece is having your thoughts and your actions, your beliefs, your attitudes, they are all lining up to where you want to head in life. And that is so exciting and I freaking love talking about this with people because it is so important if you want to achieve something or live a certain way in your life, if your actions, if your thoughts, your emotions, your whole way that you're showing up in the world isn't in alignment with that, then how can you expect that to happen? And this is where the conversation around manifesting can come up. And we will definitely do another episode on manifesting because I personally have so much fun doing that in my own life, and I know how powerful it can be.

But manifesting works because you're putting yourself on that energetic frequency of that particular thing that you want. Because you hear these things like these sayings, like, it's got a high vibe energy or she's got like a high vibe or whatever. That means that she's vibrating on a higher frequency. Higher frequencies being love and gratitude and forgiveness, compassion, all these beautiful energies that can flow through our body naturally when we're balanced. When we're out of balance, that's when we have a lower denser vibration because we've got a lot of debris, energetic debris sitting in our body and in our energy, and it's dragging us down literally and making it stuck.

You know, I don't know if you can feel it, but I can feel it right now talking about it. It's just like this sticky, dense energy that none of us wanna be in, but we are human. We all go through stages like this. Even on this path of, you know, balancing your energy, even as a practitioner, we all are human. So we all have times in our lives that we get re-stuck in that.

So it is an invitation to rebalance our energy, realign our energy back to what we want, and move forward. This is the essence of energetics. This is how it works, and this is how we can, once we understand how it works, we can then go, okay, well, what do I need to do to balance my energy right now? What do I need to do in order to be in alignment with what I want? So that is essentially what we'll be talking about in these podcast episodes.

One of the main ways that we can block our emotions in our body is simply by not feeling them. We can fight them because they're uncomfortable, because they are a bit inconvenient. We judge them as well. We think, oh, well, I shouldn't be feeling this way, for X, Y, and Z, or, you know, I want to be a better person than that, or, you know, we layer our emotions, and sometimes we can even compound our emotions. We feel one emotion, and then all of a sudden we layer that emotion with something else and something else and something else.

So it's like: shame, which leads to guilt, which leads to anger and blame, and it just ends up in this whole process where all of a sudden you have all of these emotions that are being stuck in your energy, and it's projecting you on a certain path that doesn't feel good because it's not actually you. It's not your authentic body, your person, your you. So what we wanna do is peel back those layers. Start looking at the emotions that are underneath that. That's why things like meditation and journaling can be so powerful because it helps you to connect with your emotions, connect with yourself, sit with yourself, and be aware.

Have that awareness of what's going on. We are so busy in our day to day lives nowadays, and we have so many distractions like our phones and our email that we can go days without checking in with ourselves and going, how am I actually feeling today? What am I feeling? Where am I feeling it? And we can over consume by using, you know, TV or other substances, alcohol, whatever it is to numb ourselves out, to keep ourselves busy because we are actually trying to distract ourselves from the emotions that are underneath.

And so there is an element of courage when it comes to connecting to who you are. Because without that courage, it would feel scary because you don't know what's underneath there sometimes. But it's also this element of trusting yourself and trusting the process. You can go as slowly and gently as you'd like. But if you are struggling and you feel like you're not flowing with life right now, if life feels like a struggle, it's time to reconnect to you.

It's time to come back in to yourself, to your body, and start feeling. You need to feel it to release it. So with emotions is also our beliefs and our attitudes, which I spoke about briefly before. So our beliefs and attitudes, they are normally learnt from childhood from people around us. And so a lot of the time they're not even ours to begin with.

They can also be taken on because of a false idea of what happened in a certain circumstance. You know, you're seeing it from a particular perspective at a particular age. Nowadays, you might see it differently, but underneath there may be some emotions or some attitudes or beliefs that still are being held onto from that past self. So what we wanna do is start to shift our attitude, shift our beliefs, and adopt newer ones, ones that actually empower you to move forward in a, you know, pretty incredible way in your life and in an aligned way that feels freaking good instead of being stuck in this, for example, lack mindset. Just want to give you some examples now, so you can understand it a bit better.

One is if you've got money stuff. A lot of people have money stuff. I'd basically say that you have money stuff until you work on your money stuff. Right? Because we all come from generations that have struggled with money.

And some of our families have been able to thrive and move through that, which comes with its own things as well. It's own lessons with that. But then there's also, families that are still struggling and also, you know, generational trauma as well, because those emotions and attitudes and beliefs are passed down through generations as well. So you're not only balancing your energy and healing yourself. You're actually healing the generational line as well, which is pretty incredible.

With an example of the income or the money, say you want to manifest $5,000 somehow, right? Who wouldn't want $5,000 to just magically land in your account? When I even say that, how do you feel right now? Do you feel triggered? Do you feel annoyed at me?

Do you feel like that would never happen for me? Do you feel sad? Like what kind of emotions come up when you think about someone saying to you, hey, how good would it be for $5,000 just to land in your account right now? There's many layers to this, and there's a lot of things that we can unpack with this, but when it comes to actually, you know, attitudes and beliefs, whatever those beliefs and attitudes are that you're adopting right now, and that is sometimes on the subconscious level as well, although kinesiology can access that, it will project a certain frequency out there. So if you wanna manifest $5,000 how are you going to do that?

If you've got the energy and you're vibrating on the level of, I don't deserve it. It's not possible for me. It, it doesn't happen to me. Money isn't safe with me. So I might manifest it, but then it goes straight back out again.

So there's a lot of different ways that our attitudes and beliefs can dictate what happens in our physical world, and money is such a great example of that. Another one is if you want to meet your soul mate. So you've been talking to people and you're dating, but if you've got a belief or an attitude underneath of no one's going to love me for who I am. I'm not pretty enough. I'm not intelligent enough. All guys are dickheads, or whatever, it is that you're holding onto that is energetically getting projected out to the people that you are connecting with. And of course, like, it's like wearing a shirt with that slogan on the front energetically. Right? So you're walking around and the shirt says I'm not lovable. And you're going up to these people that, you know, they look pretty good and you introduce yourself and they look at your shirt and it says, I'm not lovable.

Well, they're probably not going to be that interested in having more of a conversation. Why? Because it has this energy of lack. It has this energy of, I need you to fill my cup up. I need you to make me feel lovable, to make me feel safe, to make me feel better about myself or whatever it is.

And that energy is, it sounds a bit harsh, but it's like a desperation energy. So if you've got that desperation sitting under there and your frequency is like little little blinkers, little, you know, projections out into the world, "I need you to love myself better". Right? That's going to repel all the people that have really healthy belief systems around that they are lovable, that they are worthy of a great relationship. Relationships in their lives are really healthy.

You know, if they're walking around with these kind of belief systems, they're not going to connect with the projection that you're putting out. And so they will be repelled literally energetically. Instead, you're calling in the sharks. You're putting blood in the water and there's going to be sharks. Right?

So what you're doing is you're actually drawing in people that have that same t shirt on. And sometimes it might be, not be that particular, attitude or belief, but it could be one that they want to actually take advantage of. IE narcissists. That is another way that can be quite dangerous when you've got attitudes and beliefs and you're projecting out this energy and calling in this stuff that you actually don't want, and that will actually hurt you. The idea is God or the universe, whatever your belief systems are around that, it is providing a soul lesson for you.

And these soul lessons come through by saying no, saying no, I am worthy of more than this and closing the door, taking the t shirt off and walking away. You are literally in that. When you're taking those steps, putting in those boundaries, you're changing your energetics. You're changing your frequency. Therefore, you can call in better, more loving circumstances into your life.

This can be applied to friendships, career, anything. Anything that you want in your life, changing your energetics is where to start. It's really the only way to do it because once you change your energetics, it's much easier to do the inspired actions that go with that energetic frequency, but you gotta change your energetics first. So the reason why energetics is important to understand is because our external world is a reflection of our inner world. Our inner world, meaning our energetics.

The more we work on these differing aspects of energy, we can start to consciously and intentionally design the life we desire and magnetize and manifest it into existence. It's through healing and rebalancing our energy back to that natural harmonious state. In essence, your energetics are your superpower. It is what will create a life of magic and happiness and steer you on the path of ultimate success and life fulfillment. And who doesn't want that?

It can be your nemesis if you're not careful. It's your greatest teacher, this energy centre. So you can use it to your advantage when you understand how it works.
