Alignment is when we are physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually in harmony within ourselves. Misalignment will lead to setbacks, blocks, chaos, confusion and heartbreak (and we don’t want that!).
As a holistic kinesiologist, reiki practitioner and mindset coach, I know not only how to identify the misalignments, but how to clear them too. With my down-to-Earth, no-BS approach (thanks to an upbringing in rural Australia), there’s only just enough woo-woo to be effective - no fluff (promise).

Hi, everyone! Welcome to Day 22 of the 30-Day Life Reset!
Today, we’re diving into something that’s both simple and deeply powerful: letting go of the “how.”
How often do you feel stuck because you don’t have all the answers? Maybe you’re hesitant to take the first step because you can’t see the entire path ahead. Or maybe you find yourself overplanning and trying to control every outcome. While planning and preparation have their place, holding too tightly to the “how” can actually block you from manifesting what you truly desire.
Why Letting Go of the “How” Matters
When we obsess over the details or try to micromanage every step, we close ourselves off to the natural flow of life. We miss out on opportunities, lessons, and surprises that align with our highest good.
Letting go of the “how” doesn’t mean giving up on your dreams—it means trusting that life is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to. It’s about releasing the need to control every detail and allowing space for magic to happen.
Trusting Life’s Flow
The truth is, you don’t need to know every step of the journey to get to where you want to be. Life will always provide you with the next breadcrumb—those subtle signs, opportunities, or nudges that guide your path.
When you focus on staying open and aligned with your desires, the “how” often takes care of itself. Your job is to trust, follow the breadcrumbs, and take the next aligned action.
How to Let Go of the “How”
Here’s a simple exercise to practice releasing control:
1️⃣ Identify Your Desire: Write down what you truly want—not the details or the steps, just the essence of the goal. For example, instead of “I want this job,” focus on “I want to feel fulfilled and inspired in my work.”
2️⃣ Release the Timeline: Trust that your desire will come to you in perfect timing. Let go of needing it to happen “right now” or in a specific way.
3️⃣ Look for Breadcrumbs: Pay attention to the subtle opportunities, ideas, or connections that life presents. Follow these nudges without overthinking.
4️⃣ Practice Gratitude: Celebrate the small wins and the progress you make, no matter how small. Gratitude keeps you in the flow of abundance and trust.
