Hi, everyone! Welcome to Day 23 of the 30-Day Life Reset!

Today, we’re focusing on fear and how it can pull us out of alignment. Fear is a natural emotion, but when it becomes overwhelming or constant, it can stop us from taking aligned action toward our dreams. So, how do we calm fear and bring ourselves back to the present moment?

One of my favorite tools for this is acupressure, specifically the Kidney 27 points. These points are part of the kidney meridian, which is associated with the water element in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The kidney meridian governs fear, and by activating these points, you can release fear and restore a sense of grounding and calm.

Locating the Kidney 27 Points

The Kidney 27 points are located just below your collarbone, on either side of your sternum. To find them:

  • Place your fingers at the base of your collarbone, near the center of your chest.
  • Move your fingers slightly outward until you feel a small hollow or indentation. These are the Kidney 27 points.

How to Activate the Points

Here’s how to use the Kidney 27 points for grounding and calming fear:

1️⃣ Place your fingertips on these points, applying gentle but firm pressure.
2️⃣ Take deep breaths as you hold the points, inhaling through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.
3️⃣ Focus on releasing fear with each exhale and inviting calm with each inhale.

This simple technique helps to calm the kidney meridian and bring your energy back into balance.

The Water Element and Flow

The kidney meridian is connected to the water element, which represents flow, adaptability, and grounding. When we’re in alignment with the water element, we can move through challenges with ease, just like water flows around obstacles. But when fear takes over, it’s like a dam blocking the flow of energy.

By working with the Kidney 27 points, you’re helping to restore that flow and return to a state of calm presence.

A Simple Mantra to Reinforce Peace

While you’re holding the Kidney 27 points, you can also repeat a mantra to support the process. One of my favourites is:

I am calm. I am safe. I am grounded.

You can say this out loud or in your mind as you breathe and release any fear or tension.

Using a Mudra for Additional Grounding

Another way to deepen the practice is by adding a mudra, or hand gesture, to your breathing. Place your hands in your lap with your palms facing upward, and touch your thumb and index finger together. This simple gesture enhances the calming effect and helps anchor your energy in the present moment.

Reflection for Today

Take some time today to practice this technique. Reflect on these questions:

  • What fears have been holding me back?
  • How can I invite more flow and ease into my life?
  • How does it feel to release fear and come back to calm presence?

Write down your reflections, and notice how your energy shifts throughout the day.

Key Takeaway

Fear doesn’t have to control you. With simple tools like acupressure, mantras, and mudras, you can release fear, reconnect with your inner calm, and stay grounded in the flow of life.

I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 24!
