As a holistic kinesiologist, reiki practitioner and mindset coach, I know not only how to identify the misalignments, but how to clear them too. With my down-to-Earth, no-BS approach (thanks to an upbringing in rural Australia), there’s only just enough woo-woo to be effective - no fluff (promise).

Today, we’re diving into a powerful concept: what you focus on grows.
Have you ever noticed that when you focus on what’s going wrong in your life, you seem to find more things to stress about? It’s like your brain is on a mission to prove you right. This is because energy flows where your attention goes. If you’re constantly dwelling on problems, challenges, or negativity, you’ll attract more of that same energy.
But here’s the good news: you can shift your focus to love, light, and flow—and when you do, you’ll start to see those positive energies grow in your life.
The Power of Focus
Your mind is incredibly powerful. What you think about, you amplify. So if you want more joy, peace, and abundance, it starts with shifting your attention to what’s already working in your life.
When you focus on love, gratitude, and self-appreciation, you elevate your energy. This doesn’t mean ignoring challenges, but rather choosing not to let them consume your attention.
How to Shift Your Focus
Here’s a simple practice to start shifting into love and light:
1️⃣ Gratitude Reflection:
Take a moment to reflect on what’s going well in your life. What are you proud of? What do you love about yourself?
2️⃣ Reframe Negative Thoughts:
When a heavy or negative thought pops up, pause and reframe it. Ask yourself: What’s the opportunity here? What can I learn from this?
3️⃣ Heart-Centred Breathing:
Place your hand on your heart, close your eyes, and take deep breaths. With each inhale, imagine love and light filling your body. With each exhale, release any stress or negativity.
