Hello, my friends. Welcome back to another episode!
I’m sitting on my couch after a weekend in Orange, a regional town in New South Wales. I was there for a hens’ weekend, and it was so much fun. There were flowers, champagne, glitter, and all the amazing things that happen at hens’ parties.
I’m still feeling pretty dusty today, but it was well worth it. There were a lot of laughs, and we even crashed another party. They welcomed us with open arms, and we ended up dancing the night away to a DJ.
This got me thinking about feminine energetics. I’ve come home on such a high—being around friends and other women, just hanging out with the girls. I thought it would be interesting to explore the feminine energetic principles behind why events like that leave us feeling so joyful.
Introduction to Feminine Energetics
Feminine energetics has fascinated me for years. It’s become a popular topic because of its power and magnetism. Feminine energy helps you manifest what you want easily and effortlessly. People can feel your energy when you’re vibrating at that beautiful feminine frequency—what I call the being energy rather than the doing energy.
Today, I’ll share 15 feminine energy principles. Next week, I’ll talk about masculine energy and how it plays out in relationships.
As women in modern society, we’ve lost touch with feminine energy. A big reason is that we’re trying to do it all. We’ve been told that success is tied to a career. Being “just a mother” isn’t seen as enough anymore; now, we feel we need to be a mother and a business owner or a high-profile professional. Balancing it all is tough, and it affects how we show up as our best selves in our families.
Society places masculine energy—doing, achieving, hustling—on a pedestal. Feminine energy, on the other hand, is the being energy.
The 15 Feminine Energy Principles
1. Softness
Softness is the being energy—just sitting with yourself and your surroundings without overthinking. When was the last time you let go and truly just existed?
2. Self-Care
Self-care is about loving and caring for yourself first. It’s not selfish; it’s essential. For example, after the hens’ weekend, I took a warm bath with magnesium salts and lit a candle. No phone, no distractions—just being.
3. Prioritize Your Needs
This includes finding time for yourself. For me, getting up at 5 a.m. to exercise is a form of prioritizing my needs. It allows me to fill my cup first thing in the morning.
4. Let Go of Hustling
Stop chasing things—whether it’s goals, validation, or even romantic partners. Prioritize yourself, and you’ll naturally magnetize what’s meant for you.
5. Playfulness
Having fun and being playful is deeply feminine. Whether it’s dancing, laughing, or spending time with friends, playfulness recharges your feminine energy.
6. Boundaries
Boundaries protect your energy. Saying “no” when something isn’t aligned is essential to avoid feeling drained or resentful.
7. Movement
Be mindful of how you move through space. Feminine energy is about lightness and grace. Practice walking with shorter, intentional steps.
8. Presence
Presence is an art that requires daily practice. Be here and now, and engage deeply with your surroundings and loved ones.
9. Deep Listening
True feminine energy involves listening without planning your response. This creates space for connection, especially in relationships.
10. Surrendering
Let go of control and trust the process. Surrendering requires safety, but that safety comes from within.
11. Creativity
Creativity flows when you surrender and connect with your essence. It can show up in how you dress, decorate, or even cook.
12. Connecting to the Cycles of Life
Embrace natural rhythms—your menstrual cycle, the moon, or the seasons. This deep connection strengthens your feminine essence.
13. Friendships
True feminine energy fosters deep, meaningful friendships. Women around you become soul sisters when you drop competition and embrace collaboration.
14. Vulnerability
Vulnerability requires courage but is deeply magnetic. It allows for authentic connections with others.
15. Sensuality
Connecting to your sensuality—your five senses and your body—enhances your life, your confidence, and even your relationships.
